Heart
3-lead ECG and heart rate, FDA-cleared. Heart rate variability for research.
Clinical Trial Data Collection
Participants wear the shirt at home, recording starts when the recorder is connected, and the data reaches the study dashboard after each sync. The study team sees compliance and data quality per site, and analysts get cardiac, respiratory, activity, and sleep data on one clock with the ePROs. Hexoskin designs the wear schedule with you, selects the equipment, handles the logistics, trains the sites, and supports participants for the length of the study.
3-lead ECG and heart rate, FDA-cleared. Heart rate variability for research.
Respiratory rate, FDA-cleared. Tidal volume and minute ventilation for research.
Activity, FDA-cleared. Steps, body position, and sleep for research.
Hexoskin OneView, the participant app with ePROs, and secure data hosting.
Sponsors want more data without more site visits or more burden on participants. The front-zip shirt records 3-lead ECG, breathing, and movement with textile sensors and no adhesive electrodes, and the participant app handles sync, annotations, and questionnaires. We design the wear schedule with you, from one or two days a week to continuous 24-hour periods around visits and treatment changes, then handle the equipment logistics, train the sites, and support participants until the last visit.
Day and night on one clock, for circadian patterns, sleep, and night-time events.
One or two recording days a week across the study, to follow change at a low burden.
Dense recording for a few days a week over two weeks, then a pause, to capture variability within each participant.
Extra recording at baseline, around visits and sample collections, and after a treatment starts or changes.
Trial recording takes two forms, often in the same study: participants recording at home between visits, and one method applied the same way at every site. Each page details the workflow, the equipment, and the support.

FDA 510(k) Cleared · Available for Research
Cardiorespiratory monitoring that patients wear like everyday clothing. The Hexoskin Medical System (HMS) records, displays, and stores 3-lead ECG, heart rate, respiratory rate, and activity, at home or in a healthcare facility, with textile sensors instead of adhesive electrodes.
For research, the HMS recorder and shirt can be configured to follow participants living with cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, sleep, oncology, and rare conditions, day and night, with as little burden as possible.
The FDA clearance covers the recording, display, and storage of three-lead ECG, heart rate, respiratory rate, and activity in adults, as described in K243981. The research configuration and its derived measures are for research use and are not part of the clearance. HMS does not produce alarms, is not intended for real-time patient monitoring, does not provide automatic analysis or diagnosis, is not an apnea monitor, and is not intended for use with a pacemaker or as life-supporting equipment for critical care patients.
Tell us about the protocol, the population, and the setting. Our clinical team will reply with the configuration, the measures, and the next step for your program.
