Equipment Trials With Astroskin and Hexoskin

Compare Equipment by What It Costs the Wearer

A new load carriage, a heavier kit, or a different protective layer changes how hard people work. Record heart, breathing, and movement during the same task in each configuration and compare the physiological response, not only the completion time.

Astroskin adds three-lead ECG, SpO₂, and skin temperature for heat and exertion protocols. Hexoskin records ECG, breathing, and movement across the whole group.

Heart

Three-lead ECG on Astroskin, single-lead on Hexoskin, with heart rate and HRV.

Breathing

Two textile bands for breathing rate, tidal volume, and minute ventilation.

Oxygen & Temperature

Astroskin adds PPG, SpO₂, and skin temperature.

Live & Review

Live data on Android with Hexoskin OneSDK, every session in Hexoskin OneView.

Same Task, Different Kit

Repeat a standardized task in each configuration and record the whole sequence under the actual equipment. Heart rate, breathing rate, minute ventilation, and recovery show how each option loads the body, next to completion time and participant feedback, so equipment decisions rest on the physiological cost to the wearer.

Solutions Tailored to Every Use Case

Choose Astroskin for the widest set of signals, or Hexoskin to equip larger groups. Both share one recording, software, and data ecosystem.

Upper- vs. Whole-Body Cooling During Exercise with Thermal Protective Clothing in the Heat

Eight participants exercised in the heat in protective clothing with no cooling, upper-body cooling, or whole-body cooling while Hexoskin monitored heart rate. Both cooling conditions reduced cardiovascular strain.
