On Wednesday, September 9th, Hexoskin's Co-founder & CEO Pierre-Alexandre Fournier gave a presentation on chronic disease management and the challenges of data collection when developing AI solutions for healthcare.

• Pierre-Alexandre Fournier, Co-Founder and CEO, Hexoskin: 
  Pierre-Alexandre Fournier is CEO and co-founder of Hexoskin, a Montreal-based company focused on clinical-grade wearable sensors and AI software for health and clinical research. Hexoskin was founded in 2006 and launched in 2013 the first iPhone compatible smart clothing for health monitoring, which won several international awards. In 2018 Hexoskin launched a remote health monitoring system for astronauts to the International Space Station. The Hexoskin data collection and analytics platform has been used in more than 95 scientific publications. Pierre-Alexandre is also an advocate for transparency in healthcare, patient empowerment, and healthcare innovation through design.

Hexoskin has a dedicated group of AI & biomedical researchers with years of experience in preparing and analyzing health data, and in the development of machine learning algorithms with health data. Our research team support the collection of vital signs with smart clothing and use external datasets to answer novel research questions.
