Hexoskin Research Register Privacy Policy

Carré Technologies Inc. ("Carré" dba "Hexoskin") takes your privacy seriously and has put measures in place to protect your personal information. It is a priority for us to keep your information confidential and that you understand how your information may be stored in the Hexoskin Research Register (the "Register") and used to contact you about participating in research projects.

Information about your personal information

Carré collects personal information when you fill the Register contact form. Your information is primarily used by our team to contact you to participate in research projects that might benefit from your participation.

A person who submit information to the Register can at any time delete their information by submiting a request to contact@hexoskin.com.

What Kind of Personal Information is collected

When you apply for the Register, we may record the following information:

Name, Email Address, Address, Phone Number (Contact Information),
Birth date, Gender, Ethnicity (Demographic Information),
Allergies, Medical Diagnoses, Height, Weight, and other health conditions (Health Information).

How we use your Personal Information

Carré may use your personal information to:

Contact you about participating in research projects and surveys,
Send you updates and information concerning the Register,
Research and data analysis.

Research and Data Analysis

Carré may share anonymously Demographics Information and Health Information with researchers and partners to provide transparency information on our research recruitment process or to facilitate research design and planning. Before we share raw or aggregate data, it is de-identified to make sure you cannot be identified personally.

Surveys

Carré may use your personal information to contact you for surveys in order to complete the Register's database and for research purposes.

Other Uses of Personal Information

Carré will not use your personal information for purposes other than those described in the present policy without having obtained your prior consent.

Carré, however, reserves the right to disclose the information regarding its users in the following situations: To conform to a law or regulation, to ensure its defense in the event of legal action or to protect its rights or those of the users of its site.

Your Right to Delete Your Data

If you would like to delete your information from the Register, you may do so by emailing our technical support at contact@hexoskin.com. When you request cancellation of your account, your personally identifiable information will be deleted, including your name and email address. Archival copies of your account information that exist within our back-up system will be deleted in accordance with our normal back-up expiration schedule.

Children

At this time the Hexoskin Research Register is intended for adults only. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to submit their personal information to the Register. If a registration is submitted with a birth date less than 18 years from the submission date, the information will be deleted from the Register without notice.

Data Security

We use a combination of firewall barriers, encryption techniques and authentication procedures, among others, to maintain the security of your data and to protect your accounts and our systems from unauthorized access.

However, no Internet transmission, telephone call, or regular mail, can be guaranteed to be fully secure or error free. In particular, e-mail sent to or from us may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us using these means of communication.

It is important to understand that these precautions apply only to our services and systems. We exercise no control over how your information is transmitted, stored, maintained or used by third parties or on third-party services.

You hereby agree that any information relating to the Register is considered to be non-confidential, and those communications are open to public review. If you include private, personal data or medical information or discuss medical information on the Site or Application by your own choice, then that material and those communications are not deemed to be in violation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"). You recognize and acknowledge that any communication of confidential information made by you on the Site or Application relieves Hexoskin of any liability under the Federal HIPAA statutes to the extent such statute applies. You further acknowledge and understand that Hexoskin is not a health plan, health care provider, or health care clearinghouse as those terms are defined in HIPAA.

Although Carré is not subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, we agree to provide California residents with the right to:

Know what personal data is being collected about them.
Know whether their personal data is sold or disclosed and to whom.
Access their personal data.
Request to delete any personal information.
Not be discriminated against for exercising their privacy rights.

GDPR (EU)

By using Carré's products and services, you understand that Carré will use your personal information anddata concerning your health as described in this privacy policy, and consent to this usage in accordance to the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"). You further acknowledge and understand that Carré is not a health plan, health care provider, or health care clearinghouse as those terms may be defined in EU GDPR.

NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES

The Effective Date of this Privacy Policy is set forth below. Please make special note of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy. We may revise and update this Privacy Policy if our practices change, as technology changes, or as we add new services or change existing ones. If we make any material changes to our Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information or how we keep your purchases anonymous, you will know because the Effective Date of the Privacy Policy will change. If we are going to use any personal information in a manner that is materially different from that stated in our Privacy Policy at the time we collected such information, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to consent to the change.
