Academic Research With Hexoskin and Astroskin

Bring Your Research Question to Life

Universities, hospitals, and research institutes use Hexoskin and Astroskin to record heart, breathing, and movement continuously, in the laboratory, in the clinic, and in daily life, with the software and data access a study needs.

Hexoskin records ECG, breathing, and movement for laboratory and field studies. Astroskin adds three-lead ECG, SpO₂, and skin temperature for the most demanding protocols.

Heart

Single-lead ECG on Hexoskin, three-lead on Astroskin, with heart rate and HRV.

Breathing

Two textile bands for breathing rate, tidal volume, and minute ventilation.

Movement

Activity, steps, cadence, body position, and sleep.

Study Team

Protocols, participants, and exports in Hexoskin OneView, with raw data through Hexoskin OneAPI.

From Pilot to Publication

Continuous ECG, breathing, and movement on one clock give a study more than a laboratory snapshot. Hexoskin records them with textile sensors, ECG at 256 Hz and breathing at 128 Hz, and Astroskin adds three-lead ECG, SpO₂, and skin temperature. The same garments, Hexoskin OneView, and data exports serve a pilot, a thesis, and a multi-year cohort, so each project builds on the last.

Solutions Tailored to Every Use Case

Choose Hexoskin for laboratory, field, and cohort studies, or Astroskin when the protocol needs three-lead ECG, SpO₂, and skin temperature. Both share one recording, software, and data workflow.
