Heart
Three-lead ECG at 250 Hz, with heart rate and HRV.
Spaceflight Research With Astroskin
Astroskin has been used aboard the International Space Station since 2018. It records heart, breathing, oxygen saturation, skin temperature, and movement in one garment, for spaceflight and the ground studies around it.
Three-lead ECG validated at 97% accuracy, SpO₂, skin temperature, and up to 48 hours of recording.
Three-lead ECG at 250 Hz, with heart rate and HRV.
Two textile bands for breathing rate, tidal volume, and minute ventilation.
PPG, SpO₂, skin temperature, and a systolic blood-pressure estimate.
Three-axis acceleration for activity and body position.
Astroskin keeps every signal on one clock across mission phases, so pre-flight baselines, in-flight sessions, and post-flight recovery can be compared directly. Setup is short for crews with little time, and the data reaches the science team through the same software and exports used on the ground. Each mission starts from its own measurement, integration, and operational requirements.
Astroskin carries the full signal set for flight and space research. Hexoskin brings the same workflow to ground studies and larger groups.
