Stand Straight
Stand in front of a full-length mirror with your arms along your body. Keep the tape flat against the skin and parallel to the ground.
Measure the Thorax
Wrap the tape around the rib cage, under the pectoral muscles. Breathe normally and note the measurement.
Measure the Navel
Repeat at the level of the navel. Breathe out and note the measurement.
Measure Heights A and B (Optional)
From the top of the shoulder, measure down to the thorax line (A) and to the navel line (B).

Measure around the rib cage, under the pectoral muscles or under the breasts, after breathing out.

Navel

Measure around the waist at the level of the navel, after breathing out.
